Mid-sized manufacturers, suppliers, and other B2B vendors that sell into large companies now subject to the EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive are being pulled into sustainability reporting even though most of them are not directly regulated. Their large customers need Scope 3 emissions data, supplier-level ESG disclosures, and audit-ready evidence, and they get it by pushing questionnaires down the supply chain. This product is reporting software built for that supplier, not for the enterprise sustainability team filing the actual CSRD report.

The wedge is narrow on purpose: an intake and evidence vault that takes in whatever ESG questionnaire a large customer sends, maps it to one canonical data model aligned with the EU's VSME standard, and lets the supplier answer once and export to each customer's required format. That solves the real pain today, which is answering the same underlying questions eight or more times a year in different spreadsheets, not building a full enterprise ESG suite the supplier doesn't need yet.

Over time the product adds auditor-facing workflows, since large customers increasingly need assurance-grade supplier data, and a multi-year evidence history that gets harder to walk away from. The buyer is the mid-market supplier's finance, quality, or compliance team, usually a company too small to have a dedicated sustainability hire but large enough that its biggest customers are already asking.
